We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Permanent CT Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care by providing high-quality CT imaging services. You will work closely with our team of radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where your expertise and skills will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform high CT scans in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
2. Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
3. Maintain a high level of patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and alleviating any concerns.
4. Ensure the safety of patients by adhering to radiation safety measures and protocols.
5. Assist in the maintenance and quality control of CT equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
6. Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in CT technology and radiology.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
8. Assist in other radiology procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or in a similar role.
2. ARRT Certification in Radiography is required.
3. Proficiency in CT scanning, radiology, medical imaging, and diagnostic imaging.
4. Knowledge of X-ray operation and healthcare practices.
5. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in a clear and empathetic manner.
6. Strong technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment or patients when required.
