A bit about us:
Point of Sale SaaS shop is hiring a few DevOps Engineers! You will join their growing Engineering team to build out the next generation of their core POS platform. This role is greenfield working with C#, .NET 5, Python/Powershell, Ansible/Puppet, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and Azure.
Ideally, you are a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms. Your responsibilities would include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing business driven code.
Ideally, you are also familiar with the agile software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that will help drive our business forward!

What you'll do
Design, build, and optimize comprehensive automation systems operating web and backend services and data infrastructure platforms.
Manage and develop continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications across multiple cloud providers and engage with 3rd party consulting service providers.
Implement monitoring solutions that identify system bottlenecks and production issues and implement data storage schemas such as clustering to maximize performance.
Research, test, and execute new techniques which could be reused and applied to the software development project.
Guide the team in modernizing our platform infrastructure, adopting DevOps best practices, and developing continuous integration and deployment solutions across various environments.
Provide the architecture and technical leadership of the complete DevOps infrastructure.
What you'll bring
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least seven years of working experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least three years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer.
Ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation.
Experience using Windows and Jenkins and configuring and automating the monitoring tools.
Experience in the software development process and tools and languages like Powershell/Python, MongoDB, Shell scripting, MySQL, and Git.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as Azure.
