Qualifications
B/A degree in a related field (food science or at least 5 years of proven experience)
Mooresville, NC Able to commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
The Quality Director oversees all aspects of the QA/QC lab and Blending, so batching experience will be key for this position
The person selected for this position should be able to drive a strong independent quality/processing team
The Quality Director will work directly with customers on QA/QC requirements and report directly to the Vice President of Operations
Create and implement proper paperwork for Quality and Processing to fit customer standards
Train all quality technicians on testing and recording checks on paperwork
Identify a lead processing technician to oversee duties and training in the blending room
Quality Director should be well versed in FSSC, SQF, ISO, FDA, and HACCP
Lead the team in all audit certifications
Implement all GMP and PPE policies
