Job Details
We are seeking a Director of Sales for our Telecom division in the Power Electronics/Solutions industry. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in sales management and a strong understanding of UPS, Chargers, Inverters, Converter technology and associated equipment. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally (or as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Provide general management of team members such as expense budget establishment, expense review, sales planning and approval, sales activity monitoring and forecasting.
- Make and develop contracts with Telecom clients and strategic partners.
- Provide sales documentation, pricing and training for end customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
- Identify new business opportunities with current clientele and new prospects and develop strategies to capture them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in sales management in the Telecom industry.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of UPS, Chargers, Inverters, Converter technology and associated equipment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally (or as needed)
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
