Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, financial management, and strategic direction of the Supportive Housing department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that meet the needs of our clients and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Work closely with the Finance team to develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Services team to ensure that clients receive appropriate and effective support services, including case management, counseling, and other mental health services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and government agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Supportive Housing department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations and requirements, including the completion of all necessary reporting and documentation.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the Supportive Housing team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supportive housing or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and requirements related to supportive housing.
- Experience with clinical services, including case management, counseling, and mental health services.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budget development and oversight.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Commitment to serving individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.
- Ability to travel as needed to oversee programs and meet with stakeholders.
