We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position that demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and will be responsible for managing the company's document control process to ensure accuracy and quality in our engineering operations.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
Responsibilities :
1. Manage and maintain the company's document control process to ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to company standards.
2. Collaborate with different departments to gather and input accurate data into the document control system.
3. Review and update technical documents, including blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
4. Ensure all engineering changes are documented and communicated across relevant departments.
6. Implement and manage document data storage systems, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and easy to use.
7. Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
8. Train staff on the use of the document control system and the importance of documentation accuracy.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in document control within the Engineering industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes.
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and document control software.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising accuracy.
7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
8. Familiarity with engineering terminologies, drawings, and specifications.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
10. Experience in training staff on document control procedures and systems is a plus.
