Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Electrical Technician to join our team in the technology industry. The candidate should have a strong background in electrical work, CCTV, low voltage, security, access controls, Fiber Optic, and is EL06 certified. As a Permanent Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, installing new equipment, and ensuring that all systems are running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical systems and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Install and configure CCTV, low voltage, security, access controls, Fiber Optic, and DAS systems
- Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are in compliance with safety regulations and codes
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and solve complex electrical problems
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and equipment serviced
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician
- Strong knowledge of EL06, electrical, technician, CCTV, low voltage, security, access controls, Fiber Optic, and DAS systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with safety regulations and codes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed
