Job Details
Summary: This position will provide Electrical and Mechanical repairs throughout the plant. A physical and criminal background check will be required. Hours will be between the hours of 5am-3pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct hands-on preventative maintenance and mechanical/electrical repair work.
- Provide maintenance support to production and other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain department tools and equipment, including inventory and repair
- Participate in new equipment installs, modifications or special projects
- Opening and closing of factory and offices as needed
- Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily based on electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Fabrication and machine shop proficiency
- Welding experience – Mig/Tig/Arc
- PLC – Basic troubleshooting
- Electrical controls – Intermediate/Expert
- Problem-solving, prioritization and multi-tasking skills are required
- Excellent attention to detail/accuracy and organizational skills
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Review technical documents to plan work.
Education/Experience:
