Daily Responsibilities:
Estimator: Work independent as senior estimator on various projects providing estimates. The projects are mainly water/waste water treatment plants but includes the scope of utilities, site work and mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
The estimates prepared are:
1. Change Order estimates
2. Rough Order Magnitude (ROM)
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc):
B.S civil or construction management.
Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on estimating experience is a must.
Familiarity with prevailing labor wage rates, equipment rental and labor crew size and productivity.
Supervise junior estimator and be responsible for quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of construction means and method for utilities, civil works and water/waste water treatment plants and strong knowledge MS office suit (Excel). On-screen take off using Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience working (8-10 years minimum) as a senior estimator
Previous experience supporting aviation projects
