Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Family Law. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and adoption cases
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including criminal proceedings, prosecution, and appeals
• Work with Child Protective Services and other government agencies to protect the best interests of children
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Attend court hearings and trials to advocate for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of family law issues

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Law
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
• Trial experience preferred
• Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations related to family law
• Experience working with Child Protective Services and other government agencies preferred
