Job Details

Key Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Legal Representation: Represent clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody and support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence matters.
• Client Consultations: Conduct initial client consultations to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and develop strategies tailored to their specific situations.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to stay up-to-date on family law developments and precedents that may impact client cases.
• Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and contracts related to family law matters.
• Court Appearances: Attend court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions to represent clients and advocate on their behalf.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing counsel or parties when possible, always striving for the best interests of our clients.
• Client Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their concerns.
• Compliance: Ensure all legal actions comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Case Management: Effectively manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure the efficient handling of client matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Strong knowledge of Florida family law statutes and procedures.
• Exceptional research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to client advocacy and confidentiality.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
