Job Details

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Field Project Engineer - Civil to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil, fiber optic, pipeline, electrical, water, and sewer projects. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Travel Requirements:
Must be based out of HOUSTON, TX
Travel 80% of time and can be on trips 4-6 months at a time
Will work out of Houston office between projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and any issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and other requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to all stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, including design reviews, cost estimates, and construction documentation.
• Manage subcontractors and other vendors to ensure they meet project requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in civil, fiber optic, pipeline, electrical, water, and sewer projects.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to construction projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
