We are looking for a talented Financial Accounting Manager with a good background in financial statement preparation, Federal & State Tax Filing, and supervising experience.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounting personnel. Includes mentoring; staff development; defining essential job functions, responsibilities, and skills; managing productivity, and scheduling.
• Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data including month end closing, monthly account reconciliations, revenue audits, A/P ledger, G/L postings, fixed assets, etc.
• Responsible for preparation of financials statements and reports and/or assist Director of Finance, as required.
• Responsible for Payroll process and procedures and will be cross trained to support Payroll function.
• Responsible for periodic Federal and State tax filings including Forms 941, W2-G, 1042-S, 945, W-2 and 1099.
• Responsible for supervising accuracy and timeliness of Title 31 Compliance.
• Ensures the quality of operations in all areas of the Accounting Department.
• Responsible for verifying all gaming and financial audits.
• Liaison for outside gaming and financial auditors.
• Establishes and implements Department policies and procedures.
• Review daily financial reports to certify accuracy.
• Committed to providing outstanding Customer Service to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for managing and supervising the Soft Count Department.
• Other finance and accounting related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Gaming experience is a plus.
• 5 of accounting work experience required.
• Previous Supervisory experience required.
• Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with accounting and payroll software Experience with Kronos and Microsoft Navision a plus.
• Experience with POS, Slot systems, etc. for revenue auditing reporting.
• Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency required with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
