Are you passionate about Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HSE Facilities Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees, improving our facilities, and driving our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HSE, facilities management, research and development, and be certified in CSP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent. Responsibilities:
As the HSE Facilities Manager, you will:
1. Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Oversee the operation and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
3. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
4. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE systems and concepts into daily operations.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in relation to HSE and facilities management.
7. Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE practices and procedures.
8. Oversee the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
9. Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
10. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in HSE, facilities management, and research and development.
3. Certifications in CSP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent.
4. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
8. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement preventative measures.
9. Proficiency in using HSE management systems and software.
10. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
