Job Details

PAY RATE STARTS @ $20.50/hr to $23.50/hr

Must have Warehouse experience! - Good inventory skills (Cycle Counts)- Proficient with Excel!

JOB SUMMARY
This Warehouse Inventory Control Lead will be responsible for all quality control of inbound and outbound materials, material handling, inventory cycle counts, and training of warehouse associates to support GMP and quality controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience

• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of some college coursework or postsecondary schooling preferred.
• High school degree or general education degree (GED) required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Tools and Equipment Used

• Hand trucks, forklifts, hand held scanners and box cutters.
• Personal computer, copier, fax/scanner, phone, and other typical office equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
40%

• Inspects all inbound materials at the time of receipt to ensure they are free of defect, damage or infestation to meet quality standards of the company.
• Ensures products ordered match products described on inbound receiving documents.
• Inspects all outbound materials picked for customer orders and internal transfers to ensure they are free of defect, damage or infestation to

meet quality standards of the company.

• Ensures product quantity and lot picked match with what is specified on the picking list.
• Ensures inbound and outbound paperwork is submitted to the proper party after inspection.

30%

• Provides training and support to warehouse associates to ensure quality is maintained.
• When errors are found to be caused by warehouse associates, coordinates with warehouse supervisor and management to supply any training, retraining or disciplinary action required.
• At direction of manager, works with staff to ensure proper procedural training of warehouse associates.
• Assists warehouse associates with picking orders and receiving inbound stock during times of peak volume.

25%

• Reports any discrepancies, damages or issues to supervisor.
• Researches and corrects any inventory discrepancies in conjunction with warehouse supervisor.
• Performs cycle counts or inventory inspections at the direction of manager.

Working Hours/Environment

• Office hours are 40 per week – Monday – Friday, 7:00 – 4:00; may require additional hours periodically, including evening and weekends depending on business needs.
• Work typically performed in an indoor warehouse setting.

• Detail oriented, organized, highly accurate, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Conscientious and flexible to the changing needs and demands of work.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative in decision making in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team building skills; gains the trust and respect of colleagues and direct reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sage X3 experience a plus, strong WMS skills on other platforms preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly proficient in Outlook and Excel.
