We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development of our systems, networked online, and backend components. This is a permanent position that offers exciting opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and development of systems, networked online, and backend components for AAA games using C/C , Typescript, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure the successful integration of systems into the game development process.
3. Architect and optimize game systems, including networking, gameplay mechanics, artificial intelligence, and physics simulation.
4. Mentor and guide a team of talented systems engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
5. Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and stability of game systems.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on game development processes and recommending relevant improvements.
7. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party technologies and tools into the game development pipeline.
8. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
9. Drive the development and maintenance of documentation for systems architecture, design, and implementation.
10. Collaborate with the production team to establish realistic project timelines and deliver high-quality work within set deadlines.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/experience. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Must have experience in the online development of at least one AAA title
3. Strong proficiency in C/C , Typescript, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
4. Extensive experience with Unreal Engine and game development frameworks.
5. Solid understanding of networking protocols, including UDP and REST.
6. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the AAA games industry.
