Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join our legal team. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for handling a variety of personal injury litigation matters. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception to trial
- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions
- Prepare for and attend motion hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings
- Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and implement litigation strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in case management software
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization
- Attend mediation and settlement conferences
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience with case management software is a plus
