Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in various civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage, general liability, and other legal disputes. You will work closely with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals to provide the best possible legal representation.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage, general liability, and other legal disputes
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Attend and participate in trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings
- Conduct depositions and participate in mediations
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals to provide the best possible legal representation
- Manage a caseload and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and legal procedures
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located
- 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance coverage and general liability
- Experience as an Associate Litigation Attorney
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
- Experience conducting depositions and participating in mediations
- Knowledge of civil litigation procedures and rules of evidence
