We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a pivotal role that will provide you with a dynamic and challenging work environment and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance of our production facilities, ensuring that machines, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition. This position requires a deep understanding of electromechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics, extrusion blow molding, and industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all maintenance activities in the manufacturing plant, ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working order.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
3. Oversee the diagnosis and repair of machinery and equipment, including extrusion blow molding equipment, using electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
4. Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and quality.
5. Manage and train maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to plant maintenance and safety.
7. Manage maintenance budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations.
8. Participate in strategic planning and project management for facility improvements and expansions.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience in electromechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics, extrusion blow molding, and industrial maintenance.
3. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
8. A relevant degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field would be an advantage.
