Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to identify machine components and parts
- Fabricate and repair parts as needed using various tools and equipment
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy in machine parts
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move machinery and equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on all equipment
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management regarding maintenance needs and repairs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in the manufacturing industry
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Ability to fabricate and repair parts using various tools and equipment
- Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
