Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes.
2. Utilizing lean manufacturing knowledge to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
3. Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
4. Implementing process improvements to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and production speed.
5. Collaborating with design engineers to develop and implement 3D models for new products.
6. Applying GD&T principles to ensure accurate product dimensions and tolerances.
7. Creating and modifying CAD drawings to support manufacturing processes.
8. Troubleshooting issues with manufacturing processes and working to eliminate them.
9. Training and guiding staff on new processes and equipment.
What you need for this position:
The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
2. A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
3. Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements in a manufacturing setting.
5. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
6. Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
7. Strong GD&T skills, with the ability to apply these principles in a practical setting.
8. Excellent CAD drawing skills, with experience creating and modifying technical drawings.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is preferred.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
