We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and meet company objectives.
2. Manage and supervise a team of manufacturing personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance.
3. Utilize lean six sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, streamline operations, and improve overall efficiency.
4. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP and MRP systems to effectively manage inventory, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
5. Ensure compliance with ISO9001/9100 standards and lead efforts to achieve and maintain certification.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and quality control measures.
7. Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
8. Manage the manufacturing budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in lean six sigma methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
4. Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems, with the ability to effectively utilize these tools to manage production and inventory.
5. In-depth understanding of ISO9001/9100 standards and experience in achieving and maintaining certification.
6. Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, production planning, and quality control processes.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
