Job Details
Responsibilities:
- conducting on-site visits to store locations to assess the meat department - receive, store, and meat display.
- Develop and revise meat policies and procedures
- Analyzing competitors and working with vendors and customers to enhance category management efficiency and provide recommendations to the VP and purchasing departments
- Examine products bought for resale
Experience:
- Experience working in meat and grocery industry.
- Buying experience
- Merchandising experience
- Management experience
- Experience with word processing software, email and spreadsheets
