Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our engineering department, working on a wide range of projects in the engineering industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), HVAC systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Revit/BIM. Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop mechanical systems from concept to completion.
2. Use AutoCAD, Revit, and Revit/BIM to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
3. Collaborate with a team of engineers and other professionals to develop innovative solutions.
4. Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
5. Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
6. Ensure all designs and projects comply with applicable safety regulations and building codes.
7. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role with a P.E. or working towards getting it.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Revit/BIM software.
4. Extensive knowledge of MEP systems and HVAC systems.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Familiarity with the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent mathematical, design, and engineering skills.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
