Job Details
Primary responsibilities include:
• Patient intake for well visits.
• Handles prior authorizations and assists patients with obtaining referrals to specialty doctors.
• Acts as virtual appointment concierge for telehealth doctor visits, and assists patients with virtual rooming.
• Pre-visit planning meetings with patients.
• Communicates directly with patient and their family throughout the continuum of care.
• Assists with utilization of patient portal for scheduling doctor visits.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining EHR (Epic).
Job requirements include:
• Must have Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certificate or Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited Nursing program.
• 0-2 years clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• Positive attitude, team player with a passion for excellent patient care.
