We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Mortgage Branch Manager to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a solid background in mortgage lending, real estate finance, and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mortgage branch, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and providing superior leadership. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Mortgage Branch Manager, you will:
1. Oversee daily operations of the mortgage branch, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
2. Develop and implement strategies to grow loan portfolio and meet sales targets.
3. Maintain a strong understanding of real estate finance and mortgage products to provide expert guidance to clients and staff.
4. Ensure compliance with all banking and mortgage industry regulations.
5. Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of mortgage loan officers.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
7. Build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other business referral sources to drive new business.
8. Monitor and analyze financial performance of the branch and develop plans for improvement.
9. Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
10. Stay current with latest developments, advancements, and trends within the mortgage industry to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending or a similar role.
2. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
3. Thorough understanding of mortgage loan products and real estate finance.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
6. Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance procedures.
7. Proficient in mortgage software and MS Office Suite.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
