Job Details
Our client, a leading legal industry company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the plant, including cost accounting, annual budgeting, financial statements, IFRS, audit, variance analysis, GAAP, manufacturing industry experience, and taxation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial operations of the plant, including cost accounting, annual budgeting, financial statements, IFRS, audit, variance analysis, GAAP, manufacturing industry experience, and taxation.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports to ensure the plant is operating within budget and meeting its financial targets.
- Work closely with the plant management team to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and support to the plant management team to help drive business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that the plant's financial systems and processes are efficient and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, annual budgeting, financial statements, IFRS, audit, variance analysis, GAAP, manufacturing industry experience, and taxation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
