Your Role: Founding Principal Software Engineer
As a pivotal member of our team, you will play an integral role in crafting the next-gen data platform designed to facilitate decentralized analytical and ML workloads. This entails the development of data product containers and the associated runtime. Given our early-stage status, your contributions will be central in shaping the industry-wide adoption of data mesh.

What You'll Do:
Leveraging your extensive expertise in architecting large-scale distributed systems and databases, you will spearhead the creation of a secure OS platform for future data product developers. Your impact will encompass both the holistic design of our platform and taking ownership of key components' design and implementation.
Qualifications:
You're the ideal candidate if you possess:
Over 10 years of experience working on substantial production-grade distributed systems, data infrastructure, or big data management
Proficiency in Kubernetes and familiarity with at least one major public cloud provider
A background as a versatile system programmer, proficient in languages like RUST, C , Go, etc.
Experience in DevOps and Continuous Deployment
Track record in building SaaS/PaaS products and contributing to prominent big data/analytics open-source projects or internal data infrastructure products
A history of collaborating within digital-native scale-up data teams or startups
Inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and prior engagement in applying data in ML and Analytics applications
Familiarity with data mesh concepts (if lacking experience, our team will facilitate your catch-up)
Aptitude for effective code contribution, both in independent and collaborative settings
Expertise in design and architecture, complemented by successful delivery
Experience collaborating within a cross-functional team of product, design, and engineering peers, upholding a high standard of collective work
