Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the engineering industry. This role will be instrumental in overseeing our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all industry regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aerospace, defense, and aviation industries, and will have had experience managing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for leadership and a proven track record in the production management field to make a significant impact on our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met consistently.
• Supervise a diverse team, promoting a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager to develop and implement production schedules, adhering to strict deadlines and budget parameters.
• Manage relationships with OEMs, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components and equipment.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control measures, in line with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team in the design and development of new products, providing valuable input from a production perspective.
• Analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace, military, and defense industry regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of production equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring the longevity of our assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production supervisory role within the aerospace, defense, or aviation industries.
• Extensive knowledge of OEM relationships and processes.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of production processes, including quality control measures and efficiency strategies.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in the use of production and manufacturing software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of jet engine production would be highly advantageous.
