We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to utilize and expand your engineering skills in an exciting and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of engineering projects, primarily focusing on land development, grading, water resources, and drainage. You will have the chance to work on high-profile projects, making a tangible impact on the community and the environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and reviewing engineering plans, designs, and specifications for various land development projects.
2. Overseeing and coordinating the work of junior engineers, technicians, and other professionals.
3. Conducting site inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
4. Designing and implementing grading plans, drainage systems, and water resource management strategies.
5. Liaising with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Applying engineering principles and techniques to solve complex problems and improve existing systems and processes.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our engineering practices remain cutting-edge and compliant.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 7 years' experience in professional engineering, with a focus on land development, grading, water resources, and drainage.
3. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
