Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Perform field observations and inspections to document existing conditions
- Research codes, industry standards and manufactures documents
- Collaborate with in-house engineers and construction specialists
- Direct the design and preparation of construction documents
- Develop value engineering solutions
- Lead meetings and administer the construction contract during repairs
- Communicate effectively throughout the process
Qualifications
- 4 years professional experience in architecture
- Currently licensed in WA and/or NCARB; able to be licensed in WA, OR and UT within 6 months
- Building Enclosure specific experience (knowledge of siding, roofing, weather-resistive barriers (WRB), flashings, waterproof membranes, etc.)
- Authoritative, but humble. Determined, but flexible. Practical, but quirky (you are an architect after all!)
- Construction experience preferred, but not required
