Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 per year

The Project Manager takes in all aspects of the commercial civil projects, including scope of work development. Pre-construction, bidding, selection of vendors, construction, vendor supervision, close out and post follow-up. The Project Manager will ensure the scope is meticulously executed and high quality is consistently maintained.

Will ensure all parties execute the scope of work per contract, standards, and quality requirements.
Prepare and distribute drawings and specifications for obtaining bid proposals and compile information for estimating project cost
Create contracts, estimates and construction timeline/scheduling.
Responsible for complete project documentation, including correspondence, cost proposals, change orders and scheduling
Will effectively manage relationships owners, engineering and sub-contractors.
Prepare job cost/profit projections
Timely execution of change order request
Generate RFI’s
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/excavating industry
Demonstrable knowledge of construction trades and proven experience in both Project Management and Estimating
Experience in all aspects of commercial civil work.
Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
General knowledge of various types of construction equipment
Must have computer literacies
Preferred:
Experience with Bid to Win Software, AG-TEK and AutoCAD
Previous experience workings as a Project Manager with references
Possess the ability to defend our position concerning scope of work and contract disputes in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Managing and coordinating with various teams involved in the construction projects.
3. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
5. Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
6. Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
7. Developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
8. Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
9. Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
10. Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
11. Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to throughout the project duration.
12. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing large and complex construction projects.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in excavating, operating excavators, civil construction, and heavy highway construction.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. The ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
6. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Proficiency in project management software tools.
9. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
10. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
11. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
