We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a passionate individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including conception, definition, execution, and closure, ensuring that all project goals and objectives are achieved.
2. Develop and implement project strategies, schedules, and plans, ensuring that projects are completed within established timeframes and budgets.
3. Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, construction workers, and other project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
4. Conduct site inspections to ensure that construction activities adhere to established plans, specifications, and standards.
5. Manage and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
7. Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information on project status and performance.
8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
9. Manage risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
10. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in managing construction projects
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
10. Physical ability to conduct on-site inspections and oversee construction activities.
11. A valid driver's license is required.
