We are a healthcare analytics startup that uses NLP to draw insights and data from medical records and provide healthcare providers with insights into patient outcomes, morbidity, etc, all in a effort to improve patient care experiences and patient outcomes.
We are entering an exciting growth chapter in which we are seeking a software engineer to join our tech team of 10 individuals (made up of Devs, QA, DevOps, and Data Science). We are seeing a individual who comes from the start up space and loves to build things from the ground up. This role will wear multiple hats, building both our platform as well as scaling out our cloud infrastructure.

We are seeking someone with the below background:
- Experience doing full stack development
- Strong background building Python microservices applications with Javascript front ends (we use React.JS, but are open to candidates with backgrounds in Angular or Vue)
- Experience with Django or Flask frameworks
- Loves agile and is passionate about best development practices along the full SDLC
- Strong cloud experience, preferably with AWS
- Orchestration experience with Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation, or related tools
- Containerization experience with Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills
Plusses:
- Experience in the healthcare space (healthcare IT, EHR, claims, imaging, genomics, etc)
- Experience with Node.JS
- Experience with streaming concepts such as Kafka, Kinesis, or other data ingestion tools
- Experience in the start-up space is a major plus
- BS in Computer Science or related field
