Job Details
As a QA / QC Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of electrical installations across key energy projects.
Your expertise will contribute to the seamless execution of projects by maintaining strict quality standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Working closely with engineers, contractors, and procurement teams, you will address any quality concerns and drive excellence throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust quality control processes that ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Review and update quality control documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance throughout each project phase.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all field teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and guidance.
- Regularly report QA / QC updates to leadership, clients, and internal teams as needed.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budget constraints, and established quality metrics.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of quality-related information and project documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
Required :
- Proven experience in QA / QC processes, including inspections and audits particularly in Transmission projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
- Strong familiarity with quality control methods such as statistical process control and root cause analysis.
- Solid understanding of industry standards and their application in energy-related projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey quality-related issues and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Must hold a valid, active Driver’s License.
- Active DOT Medical Examiner’s Certification.
Preferred :
- Prior experience in the electrical utilities industry; power distribution, renewable energy, or electrical construction
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field
- Procore Experience
