Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that our products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection reports
- Train manufacturing personnel on quality procedures and ensure that they are followed
- Work with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet our quality standards
- Participate in new product development projects to ensure that quality requirements are met
- Use statistical methods to analyze quality data and identify trends
- Participate in customer audits and respond to customer quality concerns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with chemical processing, including reactors and distillation
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and statistical methods
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus
