We are seeking an experienced Permanent Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of safety and comfort for our patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to promote positive patient outcomes and deliver outstanding patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients in a medical-surgical unit
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medical history, and progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics, including disease prevention and management
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, even in high-pressure situations
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Med Surg Registered Nurse or equivalent
- Experience as an Ortho RN is highly preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service
