Responsibilities
As our Permanent Residential Designer, you will have the opportunity to shape our clients' visions into reality. Your responsibilities will include
- Collaborating with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget to create a home design that exceeds their expectations.
- Producing detailed drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Softplan.
- Developing comprehensive design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design specifications are met.
- Reviewing and modifying designs based on feedback from clients or construction teams.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the construction industry.
- Ensuring all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
The successful candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential design, with a focus on custom and luxury homes.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Softplan.
- Excellent drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to translate client needs and preferences into stunning and functional home designs.
