We are seeking a Senior Auditor with a knack for detail and a passion for ensuring financial integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting audit, non-profit, and CPA. This role is integral to our company's success and requires 3 years of experience in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Auditor, your primary role will be to oversee our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and honesty. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Leading and managing audit assignments to ensure a high level of service delivery.
2. Reviewing and assessing the company's financial processes and controls, identifying areas of risk and providing recommendations for improvement.
3. Preparing and presenting reports to senior management, outlining findings and providing recommendations.
4. Ensuring all audits are completed on time and within budget, adhering to the highest quality standards.
5. Providing guidance and support to junior audit staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
6. Staying current with changes in financial regulations and legislation that may impact the company's operations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is desirable.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred or MUST be a CPA candidate.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, with a specific focus on the non-profit sector.
4. Excellent knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
5. Proven experience in leading and managing audit assignments.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and accounts.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to report complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
