Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Director of Facilities to join our Finance industry team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading facilities projects, managing construction, and ensuring cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience with vendor management systems, budgeting, contract negotiations, and executive collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement facilities strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of facilities projects, including construction, renovation, and maintenance.
- Ensure cost effectiveness by analyzing budgets, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities for savings.
- Oversee vendor management systems and ensure that vendors are meeting service level agreements and delivering quality work.
- Collaborate with executives to ensure that facilities projects align with the company's overall strategy and vision.
- Provide guidance and leadership to a team of facilities professionals, including managers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on construction and project management.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams of facilities professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
- Experience with vendor management systems and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with executives and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify opportunities for improvement.
