We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and estimating techniques. Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for construction projects, including material and labor costs.
• Use software such as Timberline and OST/On-Screen Takeoff for accurate take-offs and bids.
• Collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and ensure all costs are accounted for.
• Analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
• Participate in the bidding process, including preparing bid packages, conducting bid reviews, and submitting bids.
• Manage and maintain relationships with subcontractors, ensuring their work is accurately reflected in estimates.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols in all aspects of work.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and the latest technology in electrical construction.
• Provide technical support to project teams throughout the construction process.
• Regularly report to management on project status, potential risks, and cost overruns.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the Construction industry.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Timberline, OST/On-Screen Takeoff.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and estimating techniques.
• Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
