The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of scientists and engineers in the research, development, and manufacturing of new and existing products. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CMC/R&D team, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee the development and manufacturing processes of new products, ensuring they meet all regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate new and innovative technologies into existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress and results of R&D activities to senior management and stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the CMC/R&D department of a manufacturing company.
• Proven experience in managing a team of scientists and engineers.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in research and development, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, or Technology is preferred.
• Proficiency in relevant software and applications.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
