Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Senior Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to our legal team in the areas of Workers' Compensation and General Liability. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and other team members to ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to Workers' Compensation and General Liability
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Manage case files and maintain accurate and up-to-date case information
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information and coordinate case activities
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witnesses
• Provide support to attorneys during trial, including preparing trial notebooks and assisting with witness examination
• Perform other duties as assigned by the legal team
• Support Attorneys handling suits and claims relating to automobile accidents, construction disputes, product liability and workers' compensation matters.
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.)
• Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
• 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on Workers' Compensation and General Liability
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to Workers' Compensation and General Liability
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
