Job Details
PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered for this role, candidates MUST have extensive experience with Maya.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field; focus on computer graphics is advantageous
- Extensive experience with the Maya C API, MEL, and Python
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in programming with modern C
- Experience with renderer integration into Maya, other DCC apps, and Qt is a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate well in a distributed team
- Fluent in written and spoken English
What you will do:
- Integrate Redshift and Maya, implementing support for new features in both platforms
- Design and implement enhancements to improve existing features and workflows
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and the QA department to develop a high-quality product
- Write robust, readable, and maintainable code
- Participate in design, performance and code review processes
- Contribute to the department's best practices and guidelines
