We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join a school based setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to improve communication skills and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about speech and language disorders, therapy strategies, and ways to support progress at home.
- Keep detailed records of patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and local, state, and federal laws.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
