Job Details:
We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Staff Accountant to join our team and work directly alongside the CFO at one of our portfolio companies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and participating in financial audits. This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights on financial status and performance.
3. Participating in financial audits, collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other financial management tools.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and audit procedures.
