Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- 5 years of experience in tax within public accounting
- Strong proficiency in preparing tax returns
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet client deliverables
- Commitment to client service and satisfaction
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Upholds core values of integrity, accountability, leadership, and professionalism
- Experience with tax software such as Thomson Reuters UltraTax/Accounting CS is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Solid understanding of general accounting and accounting systems
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- In-depth knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
- Prepare and review tax returns
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Prepare financial statements
- Handle payroll and payroll tax compliance
- Respond to IRS and state tax notices
