Job Details
Currently they are looking to add a Tax Manager to the team who can work out of their office in either Mentor or Hudson, OH for the first year and can go on a hybrid schedule thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning
- Accurately prepare complex tax returns and tax projections in a timely manner
- Review tax returns prepared by others while assuming primary responsibility
- Ensure the completion of engagements, including identifying and addressing problem areas
- Identify tax problems, perform research and develop solutions
- Identify and execute opportunities to mentor and train tax staff
- Identify / find additional services in client work
- Work with partners to pursue and engage new clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or related field.
- 3 years of tax management experience within public accounting
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
- Exceptional at prioritization and time management, sometimes within tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail oriented and organized
