We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Technical Support Specialist to join our fast-paced, growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to provide outstanding customer service. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and maintaining our ticketing system. Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to customers, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain our ticketing system, ensuring all issues are logged accurately and updates are provided regularly.
- Offer remote support to customers, guiding them through steps to resolve their technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of our support service.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide accurate and helpful advice to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a technical support role, ideally within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and software, with a particular focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Experience using ticketing systems, managing customer issues from initial report to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable way.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships.
- Experience providing remote support, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage your own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A relevant IT qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
