We are seeking a skilled Permanent Tool/Mold Maker to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in tool making, mold making, mold assembly, and CNC setup and operation.
Responsibilities:
- Read and evaluate blueprints and specifications to determine the best course of action for tool and mold making.
- Operate and set up CNC machines to produce high-quality molds and tools.
- Use micrometers and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in every stage of the production process.
- Grind, file, and polish molds and tools to meet exact specifications.
- Assemble molds and tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principles.
- Troubleshoot and repair molds and tools as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool making, mold making, mold assembly, and CNC setup and operation.
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and evaluate blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of 5S principles and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience with EDM machines, grinders, and tool and die making.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
